Brief Background
Resplendent Ceylon, the luxury hospitality brand based in Sri Lanka wanted custom designed luggage tags for their guests which also work as small souvenirs
Design Approach
Our inspiration came from the vintage Ceylon poster art in the early 20th century. We’ve hand drawn the base illustrations on paper and then transferred them to the computer for digital colouring and post-production. The tag designs are based on the scenery, flora and fauna inherent to each resort landscape. After the usage, the guest can reuse the tags as bookmarks/souvenirs to remember their unforgettable journey in the Pearl of the Indian Ocean.
